Having physical connected to digital opens a bright future for corporate investment in urban improvement. Augmented reality, proximity-based technology, wearables, sensors, low-energy connectivity - these are technologies that a) promise every single thing to be an advertising media; b) solve the biggest problem of outdoor advertising - measuring ROI. This means a tree can be planted by advertiser, not the city, if it distributes information to passersby at the right time, in the right location, in the right context. Through this talk, you will learn about practical experiments taken in London in this direction, its' outcomes, specifics, and applications. P.S. Talking tree might be showcased if allowed through customs.
